Photograph of Forrest Whitaker fishing in Lee Vining Creek. Forrest Whitaker stands just left-of-center with his back turned to the camera. He stands with one foot in the water and the other propped on a rock in the creek. He holds his fishing rod out to the right. The creek flows around him in the foreground. Rocks and downed trees lie in the stream to his left. Trees line the opposite bank as they extend into the distance.
Text from negative sleeve: 872. Rock Creek trip 1941. We drove over to Leevining[sic] Creek one day. Had lunch on the stream and Forrest tried for a fish. Got one.
