Description
Access to this collection is generously supported by Arcadia funds. An out-of-focus and distant photograph of Wilfrid Cline, Jr. standing out in front of the campsite near Burney Falls. Wilfrid stands in the distance at center. He carries a bucket at left and appears to face towards the camera. The campsite sprawls across the image behind him. At far left, a dilapidated cabin or shack stands. To the right of the cabin, a tall tree stands and secures one end of a clothesline. A car is parked to the right of the tree and under the clothesline. The clothesline continues across to the right where it is secured to a tent. A few clothes hang from the line. Tall pines line the back edge of the campsite. Text from negative sleeve: 1025. Trinity County trip 1917. Burney Falls, Calif. 1. Our camp right at the edge of the falls above the rocks.
