Trinity County trip, 1917. Kosk Creek, Shasta Co. Took us all day to get to Kosk Creek from Cayton. Broke a lot of our own trail. Got there just at dusk and John Bidwell went out with his rifle and in about 30 minutes shot a doe so we had meat in camp. Left to right, A sheep herder who was with us.
