Description
Access to this collection is generously supported by Arcadia funds. Photograph of Elizabeth West posing with fish by a stream near Silver Lake. Elizabeth West stands at center atop a wood plank that spans a small stream. She looks to the camera and holds up a stick in front of herself with one hand. A few fish dangle from the stick. The stream she stands over is at its widest in the lower right corner and narrows as it approaches the background. Rocks sit in the stream in the lower right corner. A wooden plank, stretching left to right, then spans the stream. From there, the stream narrows into the distance as it flows to the left of and behind Elizabeth. Tall grasses stand on the bank at right. Trees line the near distance and mountains are visible rising in the far distance. Text from negative sleeve: 1074. Silver Lake trip. 1914.
