Description

Distant photograph of the Smith-West campsite as viewed from a pasture near the foot of the Glenbrook grade just outside Carson City. A field extends on an upward angle from right to left across the foreground. A fence lines the right side of the field and the Smith and West camp sits on the far side of the fence. A tree rises at center, in front of the fence. Behind the tree and on the far side of the fence, a car is parked at right. It is viewed at an angle from the side and the rear; it faces left. Another car is parked to the left of it and behind the tree. Smoke from the campsite is visible in the distance to the left of the tree. Trees line the left side of the camp.
