Richard D. West was H. H. West's nephew (son of Wilson West). Wayne West was H. H. West's brother.
Richard D. West, stands in front of Wayne West's home. He has his hands in his pockets. He wears a cap on his head and a V-neck vest that has a diamond-shaped insignia on it. The porch of the Craftsman-style house is visible behind him. There is a hose at his feet and plants behind him. The negative is torn at the bottom.
