Description

Frank Beckett stands in the foreground at center with his left shoulder to he camera as he looks into the distance. He holds onto a corner of a large piece of canvas that lies on the ground. The canvas stretches back and to the left. Another man holds the far right corner of the canvas while looking towards the left. Across the backside of the camp clearing, a tent is pitched at left, bedding sits bundled in a pile on the ground in front and to the right of the tent and to the right of both, a car is parked. It is viewed from the side and faces towards the left. Pines line the perimeter of the camp and extend into the distance. Text from negative sleeve: 1269. Yosemite, about 1923.
