Text from negative sleeve: 1290. Rock Creek trip. Aug. 29, Sept. 7, 1940. 1. I make my bed under the willows beside the Rock Creek. Here it is. 2. Mertie West in camp, in front of my outdoor bed. 3. We put up a Whitaker West sign on the road showing where our camp is. 4. L to R: Mertie West. Agnes Whitaker. 4 films.
