Doc Ashby with other attendees of the Iowa Picnic in Lincoln Park. He wears a hat and glasses and speaks to two men. There are other people in the background and foreground. A man at the right smokes a cigar and holds a coat under his arm. Another group stands together at the left. There are trees in the background and the sign reading, "Adams" is posted on one.
The assumption has been made that "Doc" is short for doctor in the name "Doc Ashby."
