Description
Access to this collection is generously supported by Arcadia funds. Photograph of Salt Creek Falls in Willamette National Forest, viewed at a distance. Salt Creek Falls flows over the edge of a cliff and into a pool, right-of-center. Trunks of pines stand in the foreground at left and pines further down the hillside stand at right. Between the clumps of pines is gap through which the falls are visible. Pines cover the near hill down towards the pool of the falls. A bare cliff-face extends to the right of the falls in the distance. Trees blanket the top the far cliff wall. Text from negative sleeve: 1609. Yellowstone trip, 1942. June 30, 1942. Tuesday. 1.
