An out-of-focus, close-up photograph of Louise Ambrose sitting on the front steps of her family's home on North Hellman Street (now Avenue 24). Louise Ambrose is viewed from the waist-up, just right-of-center. She is out-of-focus. Louise faces towards the camera, but turns her head slightly right. She rests her elbow to a step leading up to the porch of her family's home. The porch enters frame at left and extends behind Louise towards the center. Ivy hangs down from the porch behind her. Lawns stretch into the background at right.
