H. H. West Jr. and another boy stand on the West's driveway at 2223 Griffin Avenue holding luggage and packages. West wars a sweater and a jacket. He holds a bag in one hand and a paper-wrapped package in the other. The other boy wears a suit and tie and he holds a thermos, hanger, paper bag, and a roll of what may be clothing under his arm. There are houses in the background.
Text from negative sleeve: 1896. Los Angeles, California. 223 [sic] Griffin Avenue, about 1930. 1. H. H. West, Jr. in shorts, Boy Scout suit on front lawn. The two old Quayle houses across the street with the big palms plainly seen. 2. H. H. West, Jr. with Boy Scout sweater on the front lawn, at about the same position. 3. The boy at the left in the small film is H. H. West, Jr. Other is some Boy Scout chum. They are ready to go on some Boy Scout trip. Taken on our front lawn. Cornett's house in back ground. 3 films.
