Access to this collection is generously supported by Arcadia funds. Photograph of fishing boats arriving and mooring at the docks in Metlakatla, Alaska. The boats are viewed from an elevated perspective. In the foreground at left, the bow of a fishing boat, "JOYCELYN," (partial view) enters frame. It is viewed from the side. One of her crew members stands atop the bridge. At center, 2 fishing boats sit side-by-side, moored to the dock. The larger boat at center is the "ANNETTE." Between it and the dock, the smaller "PIONEER II," out of Ketchikan is moored. Both face towards the back of the image. To the right of them sits the dock. A 2-story building stands atop it and extends beyond the frame at right. Another dock stands elevated above the water in the background at right.
