Access to this collection is generously supported by Arcadia funds. According to the negative sleeve, this set of photographs is captured in color. The scans of these images are in black and white. An out-of-focus photograph of Mertie West picking raspberries from the Kinsell's backyard. Mertie West stands in tall grasses at center. She faces towards the left as she picks berries from the bushes. Mertie holds a small dish in her near hand to hold the berries. The raspberry bushes stand behind her at center and stretch out-of-frame at right. A few structures stand in the background at left and further back at right. Both are obscured by the bushes. Several punched holes line both the top and bottom edges. Text from negative sleeve: 2221. Color. Alaska Trip. Anchorage Aug.10, 1946. 1.
