Description

A brick-paved street stretches across the foreground. Behind it, a wide lawn spans a block and extends back towards center. East Ward school stands back on the lawn at center. It is viewed straight on. The building stands 3-stories tall with a cupola atop the roof, which houses a bell. A fire escape cascades down the front of the building from left to right. Behind and to the left of the school house, a church stands (partial view). A cupola is visible rising from the center of the church.
