Description
Access to this collection is generously supported by Arcadia funds. Photograph of a railroad car on the streamliner, Pullman Hotevilla, sits on the tracks in Albuquerque. A railroad track rail passes across the lower left corner in the foreground. Alongside and to the right of it, a brick-paved platform stretches on an upward angle across the image from right to left. At left, a man walks towards the left, along the platform; his back faces the camera. On the far side of the platform, a railroad car on the Pullman Hotevilla train sits on the tracks and is viewed close-up. The streamliner car extends beyond the width of the image. It is viewed at an angle from the side. Luggage bays sit along the bottom right edge of the train car. Five windows line the top half of the car. Above the windows, it reads, "PULLMAN," and below the windows, it reads, "HOTEVILLA." Text from negative sleeve: 2328.
