According to the negative sleeve, this set of photographs is captured in color. The scans of these images are in black and white.
Photograph of Mertie West and 2 others posing in front of the Paul Revere House in Boston's North End neighborhood. At the lower left and right corners in the foreground, low brick walls topped by metal bars enter frame, stretching across the image. A wide gap at center separates them. Through the gap, N Square stretches on an upward angle to the right. On the far side of the street, the Paul Revere House stands at center. It is viewed at an angle from the front and the side. The timber-constructed dwelling stands 3-stories tall. A brick wall lines left side of the home. A chimney rises from the roof and sits flush against the adjacent building to the right. Three women stand in a row and look to the camera in front of the left corner of the house. Mertie West stands rightmost of the trio. The building at right stands 6-stories tall. It extends beyond the top edge and stretches out-of-frame at right. Other neighboring buildings are visible in the background at left. Four punched holes line the bottom edge at right.
