NRHP reference # 74000385 An out-of-focus photograph of Mertie West posing beside a tablet on the entrance gate to Copp's Hill Burying Ground in Boston's North End. A sidewalk stretches along the bottom edge. Mertie West stands on the sidewalk, right-of-center. She looks to the camera. To the left of her, a wrought-iron gate stands. On it is a large tablet. A stone wall, topped by wrought-iron bars, extends to the left of the entrance. Behind and to the right of Mertie, steps beyond the gate lead up to the cemetery grounds. Trees are visible standing in the background. Four punched holes line the lower left edge. Text from negative sleeve: 2335.
