Description
Access to this collection is generously supported by Arcadia funds. Photograph of Forrest Whitaker's cabin at the corner of Talmadge Road and Lakeview Drive in Big Bear Lake, as viewed from the front. A grassy lawn stretches across the foreground and back towards the mid-ground. In the near distance at center, Forrest Whitaker's cabin stands up a slight elevation. It is viewed at an angle from the front and left side, facing right. Logs support the bottom portion of the ranch-style cabin. A set of steps approaches the wide, open porch from the left. The porch stretches across the front of the cabin. An addition juts out from the left side of the cabin. Tall pines stand on the slope that rises up behind the cabin. Another cabin stands in the distance at left. Wide, opaque, white bands originate from the lower left and lower right corners, dissipating as they extend upwards along their respective edges.
