The brick-paved Mildred Avenue passes across the foreground. In the lower right corner, the rear end of a vehicle is viewed from the side; it appears to be parked on the near side of Mildred Avenue. On the opposite side of the street, a cottage stands at center. The two-story cottage is viewed from the front. Its ground-floor juts out from the building. A porch stands on the right half of the front of the cottage. At left, an elevated picture window spans the remaining width of the cottage. Two windows sit side-by side at center on the second story. Behind the cottage at right, a building stands. Signage on it reads, "J. M. GORDON PLUMBING." In the background at left, an apartment building stands.
