Description
Access to this collection is generously supported by Arcadia funds. Photograph of San Pedro Harbor, as viewed from the S. S. Catalina as it sails through a channel. In the foreground, the S. S. Catalina sits in partial view. Its rail stretches across the left half of the bottom edge and past the lower left corner. At right, a sailor stands in partial view; only his head is visible along the bottom edge. He looks to the left. Beyond the ship and sailor, the channel extends back, passing alongside the ferry on an upward angle from right to left. Piers cluttered with cranes and rigging line the far side of the channel.
