Paula de Cardo was the premiere ballerina for the Los Angeles and the San Francisco Grand Opera associations. In 1934, following her first film - "College Rhythm" in 1934, De Cardo traveled to Paris to study dancing with the masters, later returning to Hollywood. Reported in “French veterans to hold dance,” Los Angeles Times, 17 Mar. 1936: A8. Paula de Cardo and Robert E.
