Jane Withers is best known for being one of the most popular child film stars of the 1930s and early 1940s, as well as for her portrayal of "Josephine the Plumber" in a series of TV commercials for Comet cleanser in the 1960s and early 1970s. Photograph caption dated March 4, 1959 reads, "Young helpers aiding actress Jane Withers in polishing silver collection are her daughter, Wendy Moss, and youngest son, Kenneth Edward Errair. Silver is one of several of Mrs. Errair's collections which also include group of old china and 3,500 dolls sent by fans during her 25-year career.
