(Print:) The Bidwell Bar Bridge. First suspension bridge of California transported form New York via Cape horn in 1853. Located at Curry Bidwell Bar State Park. In right foreground is the Mother Orange Tree of Butte County, the oldest in California planted in 1856. Photo by Bob Crete. Natural color card from Kodachrome. (Postmarked:) Clipper Mills. Sep 28 2 pm 1960. (Written:) Hi Bob, Just came back from a nice long walk -all of a block! Beautiful weather up here -nice and cool. Played bridge til about 1 p.m. and had fun.
