A "Return books here" sign rests in front of a cash register at the circulation desk of the Studio City Branch Library, 4400 Babcock Avenue. The card catalog is in front of the desk. Straight lines of florescent lighting run counter to the bookshelves on the left. The library was designed by architect Joe Jordan who based his design on the Sun Valley Branch Library. It was constructed at a cost of $250,738 and opened in 1963.
