Description
The riverboat "Pride of Paducah" with smokestacks gushing columns of black smoke and flags flying turns dramatically into view in this scene from the 1935 20th Century Fox movie ""Steamboat Round the Bend"" starring Will Rogers. The Sacramento River fills in for Mississippi and the two belching smokestacks were added to make the riverboats used appear as they would have in the period the movie was set.
