Photographic portrait of the women of the Reynolds family at the beach in Santa Monica, 1905. Five women are seated in the sand in the foreground at center. Three are facing the viewer while two are looking away. All are wearing long dresses and large hats. Miss Reynolds is at far right. Several more beachgoers can be seen in the background, many of whom are under umbrellas. An American flag is visible in the distance at right, while a building can be seen at left.
