Elevated views of Fresno from the 8th floor of the Hotel Califorian.
View 1 (2008-0852). "Fresno CA looking north from Hotel Califorian 8th floor Van Ness Ave." Shows street, buildings, trees and part of roof for Hotel Califorian. Across from Hotel is Hotel Sequoia -- view 2 (2008-0853). "Fresno, CA south view from Hotel Califorian 8th floor." Shows streets, buildings, including Van Ness Service Station, Black's, Garage; and, automobiles.
Photographs taken by Orville T. Blake (1620 40th Ave., Oakland, Calif.). His parents were Reo Blake Goble and Vern Goble, brothers were Marvin and George Blake. Parents and brothers show up in some of the photographs, where the family was vacationing.
