Description
Photograph of sailors and citizens walking down a pier in Los Angeles, bearing flowers, [s.d.]. Two navy men front the march, one dressed in his duty uniform bearing the naval flag, and the other in a more formal jacketed uniform, while a man in civilian clothes and a western-style hat holds an arrangement of flowers to the left. The procession extends all the way back to the shore, where still more crowds of people stand. To the right of the two naval officers a woman stand at the railing of the pier looking downwards while a man in front of her looks ahead, a bouquet in his hands. The American flag is carried further back, with a third flag between it and the naval flag.
