Photograph caption dated June 12, 1947 reads, "But he'll be released tonight, when he opens the two-weeks engagement of the police show at Shrine Auditorium. The Valley's Alan Young will be master of ceremonies at the series of shows, to star Andy Russell, Victor Borge, Dennis Day, Jack Carson, Jack Haley and Marilyn Maxwell."
