Description
Two formal portraits of men in military uniform. Both photographs have writing directly on them and have been addressed to Misao and signed by the man in the photograph. The photograph on the left is of Enro Okada, Misao's brother-in-law and the photograph on the right is of Haruo Natsumeda, who is Misao's brother. Scrapbook page from Misao Okada’s album.
Misao Okada’s scrapbook contains photographs, ephemera, notes, and correspondence documenting her time at Amache and a visit and reunion over 50 years later. The scrapbook also includes materials relating to reparations and events observing Japanese American incarceration.
