Description
Personnel at Hollywood Presbyterian Hospital examine an "Autoanalyzer" machine that can perform 12 separate chemistries of a blood sample in one minute and, because of this speed, perhaps save a life. The modern, mechanical "medic" was leased in 1969 to the hospital. From left are Hospital Associate Administrator Lawrence W. Benedict; Berard; and Laboratory Director Dr. Robert W. Woods.
