Description
Certain to cause plenty of pro and con comment both in the arty and non-arty world is this "non-objective" oil painting which won the top $1500 award today at the All-City Art Festival at the Municipal Art Gallery in Barnsdall Park in Hollywood. "Broken Black" is the work of John Otterson. Howard Ahmanson and Mrs. Pauline Polk, vice president of City Art Commission are shown viewing the painting. Photo dated: July 25, 1958.
