Description
This image shows a large expanse of beach, wet sandy shore, and waves. The waves and beach are crowded with people and umbrellas. A small rowboat sits on the sand near the center of the image. Next to the rowboat is a simple wooden lifeguard station on stilts. At the base of the beach cliff at left, a small snack bar is open. Stairs extend down to the beach at intervals along the cliff. At upper left on top of the cliff, apartments and residences are visible. This image is similar to Winstead's 7552C. DATE NOTES: Circa 1920's. ORIG. IMAGE: 8" x 10" B&W glossy print.
