Photograph of a the baptismal font in its niche at Mission Carmel, Monterey, ca.1907. An arched entryway leads to the small niche with vaulted ceiling. One window allows light to enter over the font. A small table can be seen in the center of the niche. Light-colored adobe walls can be seen around the archway.
