Description
A pioneer of California, Michael Sanor was born in Ohio on 1 October 1822. Sanor joined the gold rush in 1849 but after only a short time in the mines, he moved his attention to farming in Santa Clara County. He owned a 148 acre farm in the Doyle District just outside of Santa Clara. He was a prosperous farmer who was well respected by the community.
