Description
This evening photograph of the American Trust Company’s 1011 10th St. branch was taken on March 3, 1951. The company established itself in Sacramento with a mere 10 employees at Seventh and J streets. By the time this photograph was taken, American Trust had added branches in East Sacramento and North Sacramento and employed 152 people. The bank was founded in 1854 as the San Francisco Accumulating Fund Association.
