Photograph caption dated October 12, 1964 reads, "Valley civic leader Carl O. Schatz, right, receives 'Minute Man' citation from Mrs. Adaline M. Lieberg, of Pocatello, Idaho, special representative of Treasury Secretary Douglas Dillon." Mr. Schatz is recognized for his exceptional volunteer work in helping to sell $180 million dollars worth of U.S. Savings Bonds for the state of California.
