She also mentions she will get her payment next year for "Wang Ran Ji". The envelope has USPS 20 cents-stamp with dated stamp of 29 Aug 1983 Los Angeles is addressed to "Professor C.T. Hsia, 415 West 115th St., Apt. 22, New York, N.Y. 10025" from address "Chang, 1825 N. Kingsley Dr., #305, Los Angeles, CA 90027." 張愛玲寄給夏志清的信,1983. 這封信註明8月29日寫的. 張愛玲詢問志清回中國旅遊情況, 並告知"惘然記"明年結帳. 信封上有一張20分錢的郵票, 郵政戳印日期為1983年8月29日于加州洛杉磯, 並有收件人地址"Professor C.T.
