Photograph article dated January 24, 1964 partially reads, "Open house festivities Sunday, Feb. 2, will mark the grand opening of Hallmark Apartments, 5914 Buffalo Ave., Van Nuys. 'The new complex is a luxurious 44-unit all electric development designed for family living,' stated Jerry Pennington, property management manager of Beaumont-Gribin Von Dyl, in charge of leasing and management. Sandy Lew of Marbro Development Company and George Altshuler, owners, designed the building for families with children."
