This is a votive stūpa in stone and on a square-shaped stone pedestal with seven sculpted stone heads of animals (not elephants) on each side. It depicts the original shape of the present stūpa. Reference is made to it in the King Nissankamalla's Galpota (Stone book) inscription in Polonnaruva. Height: about 4 feet 2.5 inches.
