Description
Interior view of the Hotel Palmyra in 1890. Rear of photo is marked “Eugenie Lee Palmyra Hotel 1890.” Built on Palmyra Ave. in Orange by C.Z. Culver at a cost of $40,000, the 24-room hotel opened in 1887. It was torn down in 1970. E.T. Lee’s relatives apparently owned the Hotel at that time.
