Description
Memorial Gateway at Exposition Park in Los Angeles. It was created for the 1932 LA Olympics by Bartolomeo (known as Bartolo) Mako. These large concrete monoliths commemorate the 10th International Olympiad whose opening and closing ceremonies were held in the park's coliseum in 1932. The reliefs consist of processions of figures representing ancient and modern Olympic Games.
