Photograph caption dated September 22, 1962 reads "Two of the delegates at-large for the 90 affiliated Republican women's clubs in Los Angeles County at the 12th biennial national convention will be Valley residents. They are Mrs. Donald D. Foss of Van Nuys and Mrs. Edward G. Karst of Woodland Hills (not pictured)." Mrs. Foss is pictured with three unidentified women standing in front of a Beecraft Bonanza airplane at the Norman Larson Company hangar at Van Nuys Airport. The women are looking at a map.
