Description
"Die Schule in Ipole begrüsst Br. Baudert" ("The school in Ipole welcomes br[other] Baudert"). In the centre a group of girls kneeling on the ground in rows
they are clapping their hands. On the left a man. Behind the girls and on the right more people. In the background trees.
The photograph is not listed in the Unyamwezi-list of negatives.--Brother Baudert is probablySamuel Baudert (1879-1956), born as son of the missionary Samuel Baudert in South Africa. He was mission director of the Herrnhuter Brüdergemeine from 1924 to 1927 and since 1929 their bishop.
