Description
Based on the survey of 1895. "This document was especially prepared and expressly engineered for the Treasure Hunters Society of Santa Clara Valley, teachers, students, and lovers of our beautiful and historic city. As a career teamster, one can appreciate Clyde Arbuckle's early years of hard, honest labor as a teamster (horse-drawn wagon) and platform man with the Railway Express Agency at the Market and Bassett Street site, built in 1883. As a former Marine, one can appreciate with gusto the attention to duty of U.S. Marine Corps Captain Ward Marston, Senior Field Commander of the Santa Clara Expeditionary Force, from the 29th of December 1846 to the 10th of January 1847. To the initiated Treasure Hunter, we bid you Happy Hunting... Grover C.
