Description
Oakland Ballet Company was founded in 1965 by local dancer/choreographer Ronn Guidi. The company gained recognition in part from its historical reconstructions of ballets from the legendary Ballets Russes of Serge Diaghilev; the mounting of classic works of Americana; and presenting contemporary choreography works.
