Photograph caption dated May 4, 1965 reads, "Roger Whikeland, 13, of Encino poses with 18-pound 3-foot carp, believed to be biggest fish ever caught in Reseda pond. It took Roger, flanked by mother, one hour 55 minutes to land the 'monster' last weekend."
