Description
Photograph caption dated May 18, 1961 reads, "My name is David and I'm 4 1/2 months old. I live with my mother and father at 6335 Mary Ellen Ave., Van Nuys. That's my mother, Mrs. Hank Norton, and me in the first picture. We're going to visit the new Los Angeles County Valley District health center, 14340 Sylvan St., Van Nuys. Mother tells nurse Margaret Nass, 16936 Calahan St., Sepulveda, all about me, and then Dr. W. E. Nichol, assistant health officer, came to get me. He stuck my arm with a needle and smiled at me, well, I just didn't know what to do. He said I was too big to cry."; See images #00109062 through #00109065 for all photos in this series.
