Supplementary material reads: "News Bureau. United Air Lines. Bill O'Hern. MAdison 6-6311. Margaret Shank (center), 16-year old winner of the National Horsewoman's Championship, boarded a United Air Lines plane this morning for New York where she will receive her award at Madison Square Gardens on Thursday, December 27th. She was accompanied on her trip by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Carl Shank of Long Beach".
